| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I purchased this liberty renegade in october of 2006 and have been experiencing problems with it since. the main symptom is that when it is (or has been) raining, there is a very loud humming noise that comes from the area of the wheels, especially when turning one direction or another. i had the recall work done on the lower ball joint and on the material of the brakes (twice) and the same symptom is happening. the reason i bought this vehicle was because i have to drive over snow covered mountains to get to air national guard duty, and i certainly do not feel very safe. i am going to have to take the car back for a 4th time and there are only 18.000 miles on it. *jb |
