Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: At 90,000 miles after my first "tune up" i blew a spark plug off of my head on my 2000 ford excursion. i was told by my local mechanic and many other people that ford's in this year range have been streaming into his shop with blown spark plugs. i also stated that ford is refusing to recognize this huge safety issue and that the government needs to get involved. please take this complaint seriously. my wife and 5 kids were in the car in a unknown area to them at 10:00pm when this breakdown occurred. this story is very similar to 1000's of other stories on the internet. just type in "blew a spark plug" into a search engine and start reading. *jb |
