Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl* contact owns a 2000 chevrolet silverado 1500. while driving 5 mph and making a turn into the driveway the brake pedal extended to the floor. the contact was driving slow enough to avoid a crash. however, he had to use the emergency brake. when he looked under the vehicle there was hydraulic fluid leaking outside of the frame under the passenger's side. the vehicle was towed to a local chevrolet dealer, and they stated that 3 or 4 brake lines were corroded. the failure and current mileage were 79000. the mechanic gave him an estimate of $1,000 to $1,400. *ak
