Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I have a 2004 trailblazer. i had taken it to the dealership service center on several occasions because of issues with it. the service engine light came on all the time. it would rev up the rpms for no reason and make a weird sound. it would not go into 4 -wheel drive or out of it like it is supposed to. and other things. i had it checked, and they said it was all fine and they couldnt duplicate the errors. however, subsequently, the transmission has gone out 4 times in the last 4 months. i have had it replaced 3 times. it is now at the transmission shop and they state that there is a problem with the engine has too much travel to it front to rear. the crank shaft specifically which is allowing the torque converter to pull away from the front pump and break the rotar assembly in the front pump of the transmission. this is getting expensive and frustrating. are there any other people who have the same issues or is there an issue with the crank shaft? could it be the transmission is built wrong? this is rediculous!! i have only 70,000 miles on it. why would i buy chevy products if they continue to fail at such low miles. *ak
