Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 2001 ford expedition (eddie bauer). the truck is experiencing erratic electronic problems such as dying driving down the road, electric functions turning on and off while vehicle is unattended, security light flashing, mileage indicator has lines through it, radio turing on and off, blower turning on and off, lights acting on their own, etc. the failure to run and dying unexpectedly has caused near death accidents as i pull onto the roadway from a cross street. the vehicle has been taken to ford and they explained that the problem originated from a leaking windshield which caused the gem module and fuse box to corrode. after fixing the windshield, gem module, and fuse box, the problems persisted. i am concerned that the electrical problems will cause a fire due to the vehicle turning things on and off by itself. *ak |
