Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Transmission failed at 7,500 miles; after several trips to the dealership complaining that trans was not shifting properly, the service rep- told me that there are no codes showing and they could not find anything wrong. but after leaving the dealership about a mile the trans would start acting up. until i broke down one night had to be towed in . the next day, the service rep- called and told me that the transmission was total burnt up, and they would replace with new transmission , which if found that gm replaces with rebuilt trans only. ever since the dealer replaced the trans i have a vibrations in steering wheel, foot controls, floor and now my fuel mileage drop about 3-4 mpg. i took the van back in to the dealer 4 times on which the last visit they keep my van for 3 1/2 weeks, at that time the dealership claims that this type of vibrations industrial standards, and they can not do anything more. between that time i called gm customer service and filed a complaint. which was the biggest joke . all gm did was make a few calls to dealership and then called me back and repeat what the dealership told me . i am now in the process of filing a lemon law with cailf. *tr |
