| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 2004 gmc yukon with 46,000 miles and the speedometer has started sticking at random points on the gauge. sitting still with the key off the speedometer can read 10, 50 or even 70 mph. at the moment the problem appears to be intermittent, and i have researched this, and found it is a common problem with the chevrolet tahoe, the same truck as i have except labeled as a chevrolet . a replacement from gm is more than $500, including their installation and recalibrating. i find this to be very concerning for a car that is only 3 years old to have such a serious problem. *ak |
