Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2003 jeep liberty. the contact received recall notice#06v288000: suspension:front:control arm:lower ball joint in february. the mechanic stated that there was damage to the tie rod and steering knuckle. the dealer stated that they would repair the vehicle at no charge; however, they advised her at the appointment that she was responsible for paying $600 to repair it. the dealer also stated that the recall repairs are only related to the lower ball joints. the failure mileage was 77,000 and the current mileage was 77,310. the dealer stated replaced left outer tie rod, left knuckle, wheel speed sensor, and fixed hub assembly. the consumer provided invoices of repairs for vehicle. updated 07/05/07 *tr
