| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I bought the car brand new from sunnyvalve volkswagen. while driving on the road the mfi display stop appeared, indicating brake failure. i brought the car to the dealer ,and they said that the computer needed to be replaced. this cost me around $800. also, they said that the brakes will functioning correctly, but the abs system will not work. i had the car for 6 years/60,000 and i did maintenance regularly. i didn't know why the abs electrical system was not functioning correctly. also, had some issues in the past with this car. trunk latch was not working, and i had to bring my car to dealer to replace. signal light stopped working. head lamp and brake lamp burned so often every six months. oil was consumed so much that i had to check the oil level regularly, and add oil. i fed up with all the problems i have been having with this car. i will not ever buy a volkswagen again.*ak |
