Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I own a 2006 dodge ram 1500 regular cab tr4 4x4 v with a 4.7l engine. the problem dealt with routine failure of the front shocks. the front shocks installed on these dodge failed routinely, they leaked oil, and became worthless. this was the second failure on the pickup. the first failure occurred with less than 3000 miles on the truck, and now again with 15,000 miles on the truck. i contacted a dealer, and they stated that this was a known manufacture defect with these shocks, and they were on back order. also, i verified this information with other owners online, at http://www.dodgetalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=151075. the trucks were being driven daily, bouncing around on the road unsafely, and no timely solution has been delivered by dodge. this was unacceptable! *ak |
