Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I purchased a 2002 tahoe in august and recently noticed a popping sound when i would lift the hatchback. upon further investigation, i could see that the whole hatchback glass was sagging on one side. i realized that the components that held the glass to the frame was badly cracked and starting to let go. i had bought the extended warranty, but was told this was a glass issue, and would not be covered. after several calls to the dealership, they agreed to have a gm representative evaluate the situation to see if they could replace it at no charge, $802.50, in the end the dealership replaced the glass for me.*ak |
