Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The 2006 jeep commander stalled 3 times in the 10 months of ownership. 2 out of the 3 stallings were on a heavy traffic interstate in atlanta, ga. events leading up to failure included driving approximately 65 miles an hour, a/c powered on failure, and its consequences resulted in engines turning off completely, and requiring a full restart. cars going the same speed as myself 65 mph)were swerving to miss me. to correct the failure jeep gave engine a software upgrade, and stated that should fix the problem. the service manager stated that he would not guarantee the service performed. it was only my life at stake, right?? i filed a formal legal complaint to chrysler to get out of my lease.*ak |
