Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have owned my nitro for 3 months and have experienced complete electrical failure on 2 occasions. the first time was about 6 weeks after purchase. i had just left my driveway and was going less than 15 mph. i had to coast to the curb and turn the key to restart it. it happened again yesterday. i had my cruise control set at 75 mph around 9 pm. my headlights, ac and radio were also in use at the time. the car lost all power...all lights went off, the engine stopped. thankfully no one was behind us or my family and i could have been killed. within 5 seconds it restarted as if nothing had happened. all the lights on the dashboard illuminated as if i had just started it. the only thing that did not come back on was the cruise control. i will advise the dealer first thing monday morning, but from reading the other owners posts, it doesn't appear they will know how to fix it. *tr |
