| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dometic is having a recall on their refrigerator. i called to see if mine was affected, and the automated system said yes, and that i needed to call customer care to prevent a fire. customer care stated that my refrigerator was not on the list. they could not tell me why the automated system says it was, and when i contacted them by e-mail i was sent an automatic response to call the 888 # again. or that i could complain to nhtsa , with a link to this site. which i was doing now. i still didn't know if my refrigerator was safe or not. *ak |
