Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: In july 2006, the front coil springs of my 2000 ford taurus failed even after i followed a recall notice and had the shields placed on my car. this failure was fixed. now in may 2007, the back coil springs fail for the same reason but are not covered under the original recall. how can this be ? there is a defect in the mfg of the springs or the specification to build them. the same salt that corroded the front, corroded the back. this recall should be expanded to include both front and back coil springs. *tr |
