| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a dometic refrigerator, model rm2652. the contact received recall letter # 06e076000 (equipment:recreational vehicle). she attempted to have the refrigerator repaired, but the travel trailer is anchored to the ground. the dealer (brooks campers) is charging the contact a service charge to come out and perform the recall repair. the contact stated that she should not be charged the service fee because the trailer is stationary. the contact called the manufacturer and was told that this was not their problem. after the contact sent the money for the service charge, the dealer stated that they would not come out and repair the recall until approximately four of five more people in her campground report the same failure. the serial number was unknown. |
