Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2002 jeep liberty. the contact stated that the check engine light illuminated. when the dealer took the vehicle for a test drive, traveling at 25 mph, the left front tire came off the vehicle. the contact never received the ball joint recall notice. chrysler stated that they did not get all the notices out on time, due to the large quantity, and are not responsible. the vehicle is currently at the shop and will require other parts to be replaced, which will cost over $1,000. the vin was unavailable. the current and failure mileages were 100,003.
