Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: On march 20, 20007 i was sitting in a subway drive-thru and the engine of my nissan xterra shut off. i was unable to restart the vehicle. my son had to push the car out of the drive-thru. not knowing about the recall i paid $809.25 to have my vehicle fixed at precision import repair in aloha, oregon. i called 1-800-nissan1 and they say that beaverton nissan completed the recall repairs on december 10, 2004. i spoke to beaverton nissan and they believe those repairs related to a different recall. the recall number they show is r0402. i want to know how to get reimbursement since i paid to have the repairs done myself. i would also like to know why i never received notification of the recall.
