| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I purchased a new airstream travel traier with an electronic hydraulic disc brake system. the unie is a plastic brake unit resevoir which itself containes and eclosed electronic unit. the seal between units failed leaking brake fluid into the electric unit,caused total brake failure and burned the electric connection leavingme with a new 10,000lb trailer and no brakes. itis a design failure my reapirman found upon fiberopitic inspection of the failed unit. i have verbabal reports of other failures. airstream need to stop selling these units until this is corrected. thanks. fred vohr md |
