Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tires were unevenly worn at the 7500 mi. check. the dealer replaced all four tires. the new tires were again worn by the 15,000 mi. check and they had been rotated in between the two periodic checks. this time, land rover said they would only replace two tires because of the mileage on the car. i explained that the tires only had 7500 mi. on them, but land rover said tires aren't covered as it was normal wear and tear. i told them there was nothing normal about replacing tires with this frequency and that the worn tires represented a symptom, not a problem. my own dealer was going to replace all four tires . we bought two lr3',within one year, but i wa sbegging them to identify the source of the issue before i started chewing up the third set. i am surprised this issue wasn't disclosed before i bought my car. i purchased a 2005 leftove" in the beginning of 2006, long after the tire issue was identified. i am also experiencing problems with hesitation on acceleration. it has been at the shop twice to have that problem corrected without success. i feel cheated. it wa s an expensive car and one that should not require this level of maintenance so early into ownership. *ak
