Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 2000 chevy malibu that has had a number of problems with turn signals and general other safety related concerns. now on multiple occurances the car will not start with the oem key and wireless controller. the "theft system" light turns on sporadically leaving me unable to start the car... the car cranks but the theft system disables the car from turning over or fully starting. i have sent the car into the shop several times where they were unable to replicate the problem. now they finally "pinned down" the issue and are requesting over $800 to replace the ingition module. i have read enough about this issue on forums and the auto repair (non-dealership) has admitted to "fixing" this problem on many mailbu's prior to mine. i have been stranded several times, incurred over $375 in towing and auto shop expenses... |
