Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Safety recall on 2001 acura mdx customer states that the transmission problem started in 07 and feels like acura should pay for it because it falls under the recall from 04**cc the consumer stated when the recall was first issued, he took the vehicle to the dealer who determined that the transmission was not in serious enough condition to warrant replacement, but instead an oil kit was installed. on may 25, 2007 the transmission developed a problem with shifting. the vehicle would rev more off a start and switch hard into second gear, making pulling in front of a vehicle hard. the dealer installed a transmission at an estimated cost of $3000. *jb |
