Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2006 jeep commander 4x2. the contact stated that the vehicle stalls when driving at 5 mph. the failure has occurred twice. while pulling out of a parking lot, the vehicle appeared as if it would stall. the contact applied the brakes and crashed into the side of another vehicle. a police report was filed. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer who stated that she was not applying enough in order to keep it from stalling. she called the manufacturer who stated that no one else is encountering this failure. no recalls were available for the vehicle. the manufacturer advised her to call her dealer. the dealer stated that they do not know how to duplicate the failure. the current mileage is 8,894 and failure mileage was 8,000.
