| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I am writing to advise you of a problem i recently had with a graco snugride infant car seat. i will let you know that i have already alerted the graco company as well as consumer reports. i purchased the car seat after the consumer reports came out stating this car seat was one of the best and safest car seats on the market. i agreed, and felt my daughter was in the safest car seat until about a week ago. i returned home from a quick trip to the grocery store and was going to take my daughter out of the car seat when i noticed her chewing on a white substance. i hadn't given her anything to chew on so i immediately began to extract it from her mouth. when i examined the substance i noticed it was a sort of material. not knowing where it came from i started looking around the car seat, and she had slipped her hand down the side of the material and pulled out the underlying 'fluff' again. i removed the fluff from her hand and then put my hand down where she had pulled it out of , and was flabbergasted at the gaping hole she had apparently been removing. the amount i extracted from her mouth was much less then what was missing and lead me to believe she had been doing this for sometime. i am and was extremely concerned as to how much she had ingested and god-forbid she had choked on this while i was driving. *ak |
