| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2007 toyota camry. the contact stated that when he depresses the accelerator pedal, the engine revs but the vehicle will not move. he also stated that the vehicle operates as if it is unsure of which gear it is in. the failures occur intermittently. he has notified the dealer and they stated that there is a flaw with the ecm module. the manufacturer, who has a case number, stated that the vehicle was designed to perform in that manner and offered to replace the ecm module. however, they stated that his vehicle already has the updated software. the current mileage is 20,000 and failure mileage was 5,000. |
