| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Had several incidents that started out intermittently turning left only. finally had total failure which activated the service light. pulling off the road and restarting vehicle would reset the failure. visited pontiac dealer on 06/21/07 and they didn't try to fix it because the last failure was 2 weeks prior and it was stored as a history code. the very next day (06/22/07) the failure recurred except a restart will no longer reset the power steering. most failures occurred when outside temps were between 74 and 78 degrees fahrenheit. i consider this issue very dangerous when the power assist goes away unexpectedly. *tr |
