Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Leased vehicle, highway driving and very limited local/city driving. brakes had 'grinding' noise whenever initially applied and i was told by dealer that was how the "european brake system" sounds -? required front brake pads/rotors replaced at ~ 19,000 miles 8 months after acquiring the car. rear brake pads/rotors then had to be replaced 13 months after acquiring the car at ~ 29,000 miles. was told when had car in for faulty air bag light ~ 6 weeks ago front pads were worn to 4.5 mm. car is in for 38k service now and it is suspected i am going to have to replace the front brake pads, again after only 19,000 miles since new pads were put on!
