Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2000 lincoln ls gave warnings of transmission problems, traction control problems, service engine problems. the car would die completely after acceleration via standard method or via cruise control.*ak multiple ford dealer visits had the coils replaced and excessive diagnostics done but did not fix the problems. dealer was able to duplicate the car dying in normal operating situations. ford claimed that they have no knowledge of such a problem. lincoln dealer knew that the oil covers leaked and filled the spark plug wells, in turn causing electrical shorts and failures.*ak |
