Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: We purchased an 07 camry nov 06. at 7,000 miles it started slipping, not accelerating. we took to dealer. they reset memory. didn't help. took a second time, reset memory, didn't help. went through arbitrator, didn't help. the car is unsafe to drive. when it needs to accelerate, it doesn't. i was almost hit by a semi. toyota is aware of a defect in the computer chip, but won't do anything about it. please help me and the other 07 camry owners before an accident occurs which could possibly be fatal. its not a matter of if an accident will occur, but a matter of when. we are also getting bad gas mileage due to the defect. *tr |
