| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While driving my 2005 durango, when i hit the brake, the engine will cut off, no warning lights come on, steering tightens, i have to put it back into park for it to start again. this has been going on for 30,000 miles and 18 months, it has been to 4 different dealers, and no one can find the problem. one dealer said it needed a tune up that was at 24,000 miles, so we paid $900.00 for that and new brakes. that wasn't the problem. one month ago, while pulling into a parking lot, the vehicle shut off and i hit a parked car because the steering wheel tightened and brakes locked up. luckily no one was injured. this has happened at least 2 dozen times. *tr |
