Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a graco comfortsport car seat, model number 8636aer, manufacture date 02/25/05. it has an eps (energy absorbing) foam liner. i was putting my child in the seat and brushed up against the side of the seat and the foam snapped off. since the foam is what absorbs energy in the event of a crash, i knew i needed to replace the seat. i purchased a new seat, but as i was looking, i noticed that the foam was loose on many different brands of seats. even slight pressure was enough to have the foam at a near breaking point. my concern is that the foam will break on other seats and the parents will continue to use the seat, even though it no longer provides the energy absorption protection that it should |
