Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Britax revised the manual to the regent effective the middle of june. this new manual is extremely confusing. over and over it contradicts itself to the point where i, a certified child passenger safety technician, am not sure how to install the seat. for example, the section on the short belt path for latch says it must be used for children 40 - 80 lbs but then at the bottom of the page says latch can't be used over 48 lbs. so, which is it? then, it says the tether is recommended with a latch install. this goes on and on in this new revision and needs to be remedied. we already have a hard enough time training parents, with a manual like this, we are guaranteed to have many more seats used incorrectly. |
