Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Typically when idling at a light or stop sign the engine will die upon attempting to accelerate. 7 separate incidents the engines died once while decelerating at about 45 mph. almost have been hit by car behind two different times when this happened. have taken the car to the dealer 3 different times and got the same answer - unable to duplicate. the car has been a safety hazard since purchasing new in december 2006. the last occurrence was listed below as the incident date. *ak
