Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2006 jeep liberty. the contact received her first recall notice on june 5, 2007 and called the dealer to schedule an appointment. the dealer stated that they would call her when the parts arrived. they never called and the contact received a second recall notice a few days later. she called the dealer again and was told that they are only receiving two parts per week. the dealer stated that she was on the waiting list for the repair. the contact feels that she should not have to wait this long, if this is a potential safety issue. no failures have occurred at this time. the recall #'s were unknown. the current mileage is 33,000 and failure mileage was 28,000. the consumer stated she has yet to receive notification from the dealer that the part needed to perform the recall was in the office. the consumer provided a copy of the recall notice. updated 07/24/07 *tr |
