| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2003.5 -2006 ural motorcycles with oem russian alternators fail without warning. manufacturer was aware of problem, but repair costs over 400.00. mine has failed twice, others have had 8 failures prior to factory outsourcing alternator to other manufacturers. multiple failures have been reported by owners on multiple web site and user support groups. my latest failure this morning happened in traffic at speed and resulted in the rear end locking and skidding the motorcycle. this is the most common occurance for this failure. *ak |
