Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2002 jeep liberty. while driving 55 mph, the lights on the dashboard illuminated and a bell rang. the vehicle shut off, but was able to be restarted. the failure occurred without warning. the vehicle was towed to a local mechanic who stated that the engine locked and agreed that this is unusual at 94,000 miles. the vehicle was well maintained. chrysler stated that they were unable to assist him since the warranty expired. the current and failure mileages were 94,000.
