| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2001 honda odyssey. the contact stated that the check engine and traction control system lights remained illuminated after the vehicle was started. the mechanic stated that there was an egr valve failure. the contact received a recall notice in 2005 for the egr valve. at the time of the recall, the check engine light was not illuminated and the dealer stated they would only check it if the light was illuminated. the recall was good for 80,000 miles or eight years. currently, the dealer has refused to repair the vehicle due to its mileage. the nhtsa recall # was unknown. the current and failure mileages were 95,000. |
