| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: On 07-03-07 at approximately 0700 hours i was traveling westbound on 1-10 in az. at 75 mph in kia sportage when i experienced what i thought was blow out. i came to a full stop and observed that the driver's side rear tire experienced a full tread separation . the tread separation destroyed my back bumper, rear door, and tail light. insurance company estmated the damage at over $2,200.00. the tire was hankook dynamic 4x4 , p205r75 15. the tire was the spare on the vehicle, and appeared to be brand new. it lasted no more than 3, 000 miles. i reported this case to hankook, and the dealer i purchased the vehicle with no response i am pursuing litigation and compensation.*ak |
