Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2002 jeep grand cherokee. the contact received recall notice # 06v199000 (engine and engine cooling:cooling system:fan). on july 11, 2007, the electric radiator fan blade fractured and separated on his vehicle. the failure damaged the radiator, caused the engine to overheat, and caused the head gasket and headers to fail. the dealer stated that they will only repair the fan blade under the safety recall, even though the contact believes this led to the other failures. the current and failure mileages were 121,000.
