Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I purchased vehicle used with 11500 miles on it from a used car dealership here in monroe, louisiana. i received notification of a faulty tailgate cable and fuel filter for the 6.6 duramax diesel. i scheduled an appointment with the local dealership and had this taken care off. when i was at the dealership i met a construction company owner and he saw me drive up in the truck. he asked if i have had any trouble with the fuel injections. i advised him i have not noticed any difference in the fuel economy or leaking fuel. he had three duramax diesels and all of them had fuel injection problems. however, all of them were slightly over the mileage limit to be covered under the factory warranty. since then i questioned if there was something wrong with the fuel injection. i recently had to put the truck in the shop to service the transmission and the shop placed it on the computer and noticed a fuel injection error code. i called the dealership afterwards to get a round about estimate before i took the truck in for repair and the technician advised me that each fuel injector would cost $400.00 plus labor on each fuel injector for complete overall. lets just say i was still driving the truck un repaired. can you please look into this and see if you have received any other complaints regarding this problem. *ak
