Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I own a 2002 1.8t automatic jetta with 75000 miles. yesterday i was told it needed a new transmission. i use this car for basic transportation, and have maintained regular upkeep. i am appalled that i have to spend $5,000 to fix a faulty transmission. i have been doing research and it seems that a lot of jettas have this problem, especially the turbos. how can volkswagen get away with this? i would like to start a class action suit. something needs to be done to correct this matter!. *ak
