| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 1999 ford taurus. while driving 1 mph, the passenger side front tire blew out. the contact noticed that the coil spring punctured the tire and caused it to flatten. the vehicle was towed to a gas station. he spoke with the local ford dealer and they advised him to bring the vehicle in for repair. the dealer replaced the parts for free, however, they would not reimburse him for the tow and the new tire. the contact believes that his vehicle should be included in recall number 04v332000 (suspension:front:springs:coil springs). the vin was unknown. the current and failure mileages were 152,000. |
