Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contacts owns a 2005 chevrolet silverado 2500. while driving 25-45 mph on steep downgrades, the transmission shifted into second gear while the gear shift indicator was still in first. the vehicle was towing a trailer at the time of failure. the dealer has not inspected the vehicle. the dealer stated that they would not be able to correct the failure because that is how the vehicle was designed to perform. the current mileage was 19,600 and failure mileage was 19,000. updated 02/01/08. *lj
