Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 2003 chevy cavalier has stalled out several times while i was driving down the road at speeds not over 25 mph. this was very scary and it definitely could have caused a big problem at a higher rate of speed, because you lose everything when it dies. i just had to replace the fuel pump , on a car that is less than 4 years old, has less than 32,000 miles on it, and all maintenance has been completed per dealer recommendations. the cars warranty was the 3 year/ 30,000 mile warranty, so the dealership would not have helped with the repair bill. there is something not quite right about this car even though the fuel pump has been replaced, at times it goes by itself without my foot on the gas pedal- i have to apply the brake to slow it down. *jb |
