| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I received a letter from thule, inc., today notifying me of a recall of my 998 trailblazer bicycle rack. i went to their website, but it did not allow me to request the repair kit, referring me to their telephone number, 800-848-5391. three times i called that number, and three times, when i was told "if you believe you have a rack covered by this recall, push 1", i pushed one -- and was left with a dead line. their letter provides me with neither an email address nor a fax number by which i can contact them. following thule's directions, i am unable to obtain a repair kit for my unit. thule's recall letter says that if they fail or are unable to remedy the defect at no charge, i may file a complaint with you. i am filing a formal complaint against thule, inc. for their failure to provide me with a means to obtain a recall kit. *tr |
