Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2004 road warrior fs2600 (na). the manufacturer is weekend warrior trailers company. the contact stated that the trailer comes equipped with a 40 gallon fuel tank that has an electric fuel pump system. he stated that the trailer has two defects. the first is that the on/off nozzle does not function properly. there is no safety shut off valve on/off button for this device. the second defect is that the hose to the fuel pump has a leak, which causes fuel to leak from the tank. the manufacturer stated that the fuel pump has an anti-gravity pump that prevents fuel from leaving, unless it is pumped out. while driving in 106 degree weather, the gasoline vapors caused the pumps to expand and fuel leaked from the hose. he stated that there is no safety warning on how to properly fuel the trailer at the stations. also, the on/off nozzle has a timer that causes the driver to manually turn off the 12 vault system. the part number was unknown. no vehicle information was available. |
