Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I purchased a 2000 oldsmobile alero in 2003, since that time i have had to replace the power window regulators on the windows 5 times, the rear passenger side window twice. i have also had to replace the drivers side window master switch within the first 45 days of purchase to be able to open the front driver and front passenger windows. the power window regulator failure causes the windows to fall into the door panel leaving me no alternative but to replace the regulator immediately when this happens, for safety reasons as well as protection from the elements. i have also had to replace the molding on the front windshield. on all occasions i took the car to the dealership to repair the parts, receipts are available however i do not have the old parts. the last time i had the window regulator replaced i expressed concern at this consistent failure, i was told by the service person "since gmc changed to the cable windows there had been some problems but not enough for a recall". *tr
