Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: We have a 2001 ford taurus that we bought new. had the front spring shields installed upon receiving recall notice. front springs are ok so far, but i noticed the rear of the car sat a little low in the garage. i had heard of some spring problems with the fords, and my son just had the rear springs on his focus replaced recently at his own expense. (he bought the focus new also) i scheduled service at our ford dealership and they confirmed both rear springs are broken. they did not have them in stock, so rescheduled me for the next day. the struts did not come in, so now i'm rescheduled for next week. now i don't know if we should drive it or not, as i found out that a lot of tires are being punctured, and i had recently put new tires on. ford should take care of this... *tr |
