Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: 2002 chevy avalanche 1500 4x4 z71 corrosion in the front wheel bearing hub contaminated the tone ring on the speed sensor causing the brakes not to work correctly. lock up or not work at all very dangerous situation. i replaced the hud and it cured the problem appears that the moisture causing the corrosion got thru at the speed sensor plug. i see canada already has a recall on this why is the us taking so long to implement the recall. does some one have to die for it to be an important safety issue. *tr
