| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My child's britax decathlon car seat, which was manufactured in 12/06, and which we started using in 3/07, no longer buckles. the latch goes into the buckle all the way on one side, but does not click or lock into place. the other side of the latch locks fine. i noticed it this weekend when i thought my child was securely buckled -- and then i saw that his harness was half undone. i am going to disassemble the seat and put the manufacturer's recommendation for washing the buckle in place. the manufacturer is also replacing the buckle. *tr |
